Singapore Visa Application Process & Requirements In Kenya

Kenyan passport holders do not require a visa to travel to Singapore for short visits, provided they meet Singapore’s entry requirements.

However, foreign nationals legally residing in Kenya whose nationalities require a Singapore visa must obtain a visa before travelling. This includes, but is not limited to, nationals of:

Applicants must hold a valid Kenyan residence permit at the time of application.

Complete Form 14A

Complete the Singapore Visa Application Form (Form 14A).

Gather Supporting Documents

Prepare all the required supporting documents.

Submit to Greentod

Submit the completed application and supporting documents to Greentod Visa Solutions Ltd, a Singapore visa agent in Kenya.

Pay Processing Fee

Pay the applicable visa processing fee.

Application Forwarded to High Commission

Your application will be submitted to the Singapore High Commission for processing.

Await Processing

Await visa processing.

Receive e-Visa

Once approved, your Singapore e-Visa will be issued electronically.

Print & Travel

Print the e-Visa and present it together with your passport when travelling to Singapore.

  • Original passport valid for at least six (6) months from the intended date of entry
  • One recent passport-size photograph
  • Copy of the passport bio-data page
  • Valid Kenyan Residence Permit (for non-Kenyan applicants)
  • Flight reservation
  • Hotel reservation or accommodation confirmation
  • Detailed travel itinerary
  • Original bank statements for the last three (3) months (certification not required)
  • Sponsorship letter (if the trip is sponsored)
  • Employment letter or business registration documents (where applicable)

Important Information

  • Visa applications may only be submitted up to 30 days before the intended date of arrival in Singapore.
  • The visa processing fee is non-refundable, regardless of the application outcome.
  • Issuance of a Singapore visa does not guarantee entry. Admission into Singapore is determined by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) upon arrival.
  • Applicants may be requested to provide additional documents depending on their nationality or individual circumstances.

SG Arrival Card (SGAC)

All travellers, including visa-exempt nationals such as Kenyans, are required to complete the Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) online within three (3) days before arrival in Singapore. The SG Arrival Card is not a visa and must be submitted separately before travel.
