SOUTH KOREA VISA APPLICATION PROCESS & REQUIREMENTS FOR KENYAN CITIZENS

FOR TOURIST VISITS

1. A Kenyan passport valid for at least six months from the intended date of arrival in South Korea
2. A duly completed and signed visa application form (downloaded e-form) 
3. Two recent passport-size 33 mm by 45 mm colour photograph taken on a white background
4. Copy of travel itinerary
5. Documentation showing applicant’s ties to home country
6. Copy of round trip flight reservations
7. Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay
8. Proof of sufficient financial means to cover your stay in South Korea
9. Detailed travel itinerary for tourists
10. Documentation showing ties to Kenya
11. Passport should have at least 2 blank visa pages
12. Submit your application in person at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kenya
13. The head of a Korean diplomatic mission may request additional documents if needed, depending on the applicant’s individual situation

FOR BUSINESS VISITS

15.  Documents proving the purpose of your business visit such as;

• Business Invitation Letter. Issued by a company or organization in Korea, stating the purpose, duration, and details of your visit.

• Copy of the Business Registration Certificate. A document showing that the inviting company in Korea is legally registered.

• Certified Copy of the Corporate Register. An official record confirming the existence and details of the company inviting you.

• Employment Details. Your position or designation in the company, confirming your current employment status
• Provide a copy of the Certificate of Business Registration of your employer or company in Kenya

• submit a Business Introduction Letter issued by your employer or company based in Kenya. This letter must be printed on the company’s official letterhead, which should clearly display the Kenya mailing address and contact information.

  The Business Introduction Letter should:

        • Explain the purpose of the business trip to Korea

        • Confirm that the company is aware of and supports the applicant’s travel

        • Include the company representative’s name, signature, contact details and official stamp
