A Certificate of Entitlement to the Right of Abode is a vignette placed in your foreign passport confirming your unrestricted right to enter, live and work in the UK. If you have the right of abode, you do not need a visa or electronic travel authorization (ETA) to come to the UK.
Having right of abode means you are allowed to live or work in the UK without any immigration restrictions.
